Our Team

Paulina is a Chicana with family origins in northern Mexico. Raised on the border of Calexico/Mexicali. Paulina graduated from Calexico High School and joined the U.S Army soon after. Paulina was honorably discharged from the Army in 2009. Paulina graduated from Troy University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Paulina continued to pursue her education at Arizona State University and graduated in 2020 with a degree in special education and the concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2021 Paulina earned her Board Certification. In 2022, Paulina met Lauren and decided to partner with her to open a private practice.  

Lauren is a Pennsylvania native, who grew up in Pittsburgh and lived for several years in Erie while pursuing her education.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Allegheny College and Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Mercyhurst University.  Lauren earned her Board Certification in 2016 and has since worked as a BCBA in home, school, community, and clinic settings.  She specializes in children and young adults who engage in severe aggressive and self injurious behaviors. In 2020, Lauren moved to Arizona and, shortly thereafter, joined forces with Paulina to create Colores.
